Great Filipino Bowlers

By Editor | May 4th, 2010

In the Philippines, bowling may not be as popular as boxing and basketball, since it is not as accessible. Unlike boxing and basketball, you can basically find a basketball court or boxing ring in every corner and every area in the city. Nevertheless, bowling is equally revered by Filipinos, young and old. In fact, the Philippines has a number of world bowling champions, like Mr. Rafael “Paeng” Nepomuceno, who did not just win one international bowling competition, but 6 titles all in all and he is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for all his achievements in bowling.  Another great Filipino bowler is Ms. Olivia “Bong” Coo, who is a 4-time world champion and was the first Filipino athlete included in the Guinness Book of World Records.

These amazing Filipino athletes are truly the pride and joy of the whole nation.
